Normec (Manchester) Limited has been established for over sixty years as a precision instrumentation engineering business specialising in the machining of stainless steel and nickel alloys to exacting tolerances. All manufacturing is carried out within a quality management system certified to AS9100 Rev D. Specialities & Technologies

Citizen and Mori-Seiki lathes are used to offer CNC turning in a range of diameters from 1mm to 250mm and a Mori-Seiki vertical machining centre offers machining in an envelope up to 600mm x 430mm x 460mm. Inspection techniques include the use of a Mitutoyo CMM and all inspection equipment is fully traceable to national standards. In addition to subcontract CNC machining, Normec offers inert and reducing atmosphere brazing and TIG welding services through its subsidiary Ceramic Seals Limited.
