SID Congress 2027

Stratford-upon-Avon

Welcome from the SID President

Dear SID Members,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2027 SID Congress, hosted by the British Turned Parts Manufacturers Association (BTMA) in Stratford-upon-Avon, England.

Held every two years, the SID Congress provides a unique opportunity for our international community to come together, share experiences, and gain insight into the manufacturing capabilities of our host country. It is an event built around the exchange of knowledge, new ideas, and the relationships that continue to strengthen our industry worldwide.

This year, we are delighted to showcase UK manufacturing and the expertise that has made British precision engineering recognised around the world. Through a programme of factory visits, delegates will have the opportunity to see advanced manufacturing technologies, innovative processes, and the approaches being taken by UK businesses to improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness.

Sharing Knowledge, Strengthening Our Industry

The challenges facing manufacturers today are global. Changing trade conditions, supply chain pressures, rising costs, and the ongoing need to develop skills and adopt new technologies are issues being faced across our industry. The opportunity to see how other manufacturers are responding, share experiences, and discuss solutions is one of the greatest benefits of being part of SID.

Welcome to Stratford-upon-Avon

Stratford-upon-Avon provides a fantastic setting for this year's Congress. Located in the heart of England and internationally recognised as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, it offers delegates and partners the opportunity to experience British history, culture, and hospitality alongside a programme focused on manufacturing excellence.

On behalf of the SID Group and the BTMA, I warmly invite you to join us in Stratford-upon-Avon for what promises to be an informative, inspiring, and memorable SID Congress.

I look forward to welcoming you to the UK.
