The sliding head range from Team Cutting Tools covers every element of machining from turning, milling, grooving, drilling and a wide range of associated accessories. Of particular interest for turning will be WNT’s System SOGX turning inserts with four useable cutting edges. The inserts are tangentially mounted to ensure high process security, even under extreme cutting conditions. This is further enhanced by the availability of a coolant supply that can be precisely directed and fed from either the rear or side of the toolholder. The SOGX inserts are available in two sizes, 7 and 11 mm, each with a choice of tool coating options making them ideal for a wide range of applications from cutting steel, non-ferrous and titanium materials.
